Pro Tools Le 7 Latency

Hi , Am about to switch from using Nuendo,Logic and Cubase to Pro tools 7 . Is there anyone using pro tools le 7 with the uad-1. do you have to sort out delay compensation manually or is it simple plugin and play like Cubase SX and Nuendo or do i need to understand delay value's? and does the vst to RTAS wrapper work properly.
