Probably User Error... Old songs settings lost after upgrade

Strange, what program are you running and what version did you upgrade from and to?

Sonar 6.2
I updated my UAD plugs, then reopen an older project in Sonar.
The old project opens but there's a message to the effect that \"the following plug-ins cannot be located and are disabled\".
Mind you it is per project...and if I rreinsert the same plug...works fine, but the old settings are lost. So while I know what effect was used on each track, I have to re-do all of the fx settings to get the old mix back.
not a major catastrophe, but certainly an annoyance. I guess I'll just have to keep a hard copy of the settings as a backup.
