Hi
I was using my UAD-1 card in Cubase no probs. I will probably cross grade to SAW, but nioticed the following problem:
I regularly use live input monitroring through the Nigel guitar AMP simulator on the UAD-1 card. This is great for recording the direct clean gtr signal while still hearing the gtr amp and effects.
I can do this down to the lowest sample latency of 32 in SX. However, any setting below 1000 in SAW gives me the 'Play Buffer Overun... Data Not Processed Fast Enough!' error.
I thought that SAW would handle this easily, since it is supposed to be more CPU efficient than my other DAW.
Is there a compatibility issue happening here between SAW and the UAD-1 card, or is there some setting I can change to rectify the problem, which will allow me to monitor down to low latency levels?
BTW, when I insert other plugs on the same channel (compressor, eq, even a reverb), SAW handles it fine. It just seems to be having probs getting low latency levels with the UAD-1 card.
Thanks!
Shaun
