Problems with audioexport in cubase se

Hello everybody,

I am running Cubase SE with a UAD-1 card.
I have got no problems while using the card's fx in the mix - everything sounds well when I listen to it in realtime.

But when I export the stereomix it happens to loose a Chanell or there are pops and sound-blackouts on some channels...

Do you know this problem? And is there any workaround?

System:
P4 | 2,8 GHz | 1024 MB RAM
Cubase SE3 | UAD-1 4.00
WinXP Home SP1

Thanks, Randy6

I haven't used SE, but if it offers a 'Realtime Export' option in the 'Export Mixdown' dialog like SX/Nuendo, you should check it.

Thanks...

I tried this already - SE seems not to have this option :(

I am a little bit depressed about that - before buying the card I asked the uaudio staff if the uad-1 works with SE ... they saw no problems.

Any other hints?

Is it possible that these probs are caused by using some of the uad-1 demos in the mix?
Actually I am using the fairchild und the Cambridge as demo yet ...

Thanks in advance,
Randy6

i will try this with my se tomorrow if i remember (i normally use my sx3 with uad).
what soundcard do you have? some allow you to digitally record the stereo output directly back into a track; this would allow you to record in realtime what you hear. emu soundcards can do this.

Hello again ...

thanks for trying :)

I use a m-audio delta 1010lt.

But recording a playing track ist not that good - I would have artefacts because I always Squeeze my machine to death :)

Hello again,

now I have tried to export using the recommended Plugs - the export still had dropouts un some Channels...

Do you think it might be better to rise the latency in cubase se?

BTW: Does the latency that is set in the soundcard influece the \"normal\" export-process ind cubase?

Thanks, Randy6
