Questions about Magma chassis

I have a chance to purchace a 7 slot, 32 bit Magama expansion chassis, and I have a couple questions:

(1) It only comes with the unit itself (it has a built in interface), so I would still need the cable and PC host interface PCI card. Where can I find these 2 items? How much are they?

(2) What would you consider a fair price on the above Magma? (without cable and PC host PCI card)

Depending on what type it is (magma or SBS)....sbs parts are quite and they are not to helpful themselves at sourceing parts for old kit.

Magma cable is about $60-$90 (depending on length and where you get it) and the pci card is about $100 (this is what I was quoted from them direct)

I wouldnt pay a lot for the chassis without these parts as they will cost a load to buy seperately...id say $250 max or keep looking for one with all the parts.

It's a SBS - can I use magma parts with this?

I found magma pricing here:

I had no luck finding SBS pricing.

Is that $250 for just the chassis, or $250 for the complete package?

(I can get a 7-slot, 32bit 33MHz, SBS chassis to my house for less than $100 - but I would still need the cable and host card . . .)

Sorry, I meant my local SBS dealer quoted me (UK), not magma...and it was £100 for the card (not $)

Id pay no more than $250 for the chassis itself. I sold my sbs one to another chap and bought a magma 13 slot in the end (for cheaper and all the bits...madness)

Even getting the chassis for $100 it still seems your gonna be paying a silly price for the card and cable if thats the prices on thier website. Ive seen complete chassis's go for $250-$300 on ebay. Worth keeping an eye out for a good deal, depends how desperate you need one.
