Questions from a UAD NEEWBIE

HI all !

im a totaly Neewbie 'bout UAD stuff but im very interested right now to get one of these UAD Cards, but i have some questions may some of you UAD Card cracks can help ?

I know the UAD PCI Card and the Concept around it actualy pretty well since it cames out ...

so my question, are there any problems or further requirements for my DAW Set up to guarantee smooth and correct workin ?:

MAC G5 dual 1.8GHZ- OSX 10.3.3, 1,5GB RAM , Host App : Cubase SX3 , MOTU 2408 mk III -my G5 has the older PCI Slots , not the PCI express stuff, dunno yet the right description

im interested to buy and run the latest UAD Software Version , for the 1081 EQ and or the 88rs channelstrip for example

im realy thankfull for any answer and help !!

latest version does not support 10.3 any more.
u have to upgrade to 10.4

And in general you should get better performances with a 10.4.x on your machine (do not know about that specific Cubase version though...).

My advice is to update to 10.4.8, some users have had problems with the latest apple updates (10.4.9 and 10.4.10).
