So I have been using my Apollos and UA plug ins for making demos.
I have had not had much time for studying as I have been songwriting.
Howeverm I am gonna start to record vox and guitar for people, and I don't have a great deal of knowledge re compressors,
BUT, I have been doing this, following UA's 5 min 1176 tips video, I have been setting the input and compressor levels as suggested when recording, seems AMAZING!
Then if there is anything that jumps out I can just adjust it with clip gain in Pro Tools, no need to use a further compressor.
Is it ok to do it like this? seems to get amazing results on VOX and bass guitar.
