Ravel crashes ProTools

Is anyone else having problems with Ravel piano plug in crashing Pro-Tools. It doesn’t even leave a log just spinning beach ball for 5 seconds then crash. Same on 2 different computers…Ventura and Sonama, but PT 2021-3 which isn’t officially supported….perpetual licence and I’m not going down the subscription path. No other issues, just RAVEL. Every other plugin works.

Cant’t comment on the crash issue, but Avid has changed its policy to now allow purchase of a year‘s updates and support for perpetual license with an expired plan without penalty, so you could purchase once and bring your perpetual license up to date, including any updates within a year after purchase.

One time purchase, $199 for studio and $499 for ultimate would bring you up to date.

Went down the upgrade and that fixed it…..but that was the only glitch I’d found using the old unsupported past 11.2 ProTools on 14.4. No doubt more would have surfaced. Add the loss of my firewire satellite (which are now all over eBay) and that’s an expensive upgrade
