Re-Installing and adding second UAD-1

Hey Hey!

I've upgraded to an 002R and PT 7 LE, and along the way I've had to zero and rebuild my main drive, so I'm about to install my original Ultra-Pak along with a Flexi-Pak I just picked up.

I'll be reading through as much of the documentation as I can and browsing the forum before making the move, to make sure I dot my 'I's and cross my 'T's, but perhaps some of you more serious veterans can post a few tips for me, culled from the general knowledgebase here. Maybe another post with a current summary of lessons learned?

For example... I'm remembering that it can be very important which two PCI-X slots I plug into, but I'm not sure if it's in the install instructions. (And yes... I know about the AMD 8131 in there)

I've got the original Dual 1.8 GHz G5.

Hey Hey!

Well... All is up and running again.

UA really does treat us pretty well, don't they? They make it pretty easy.

I do have one specific question... On reinstalling I came upon the question of whether to install Mono Plugs... I chose to go ahead with it, but now I'm realizing that it really just clutters up the already crazy list of plugs and if I remember correctly, the mono plugs don't really save much power, if any. How do I go about getting rid of them?
