Recording a choir--any suggestions?

Hi all--I've got a talented local church choir that wants to do a full-length album of songs, some unaccompanied, some with guitar and keys. There are both men and women, and they are singing in 4-part harmony. I thought about doing it in the church itself, which has a great warm sound (like you'd expect), using a pair of DPA 4006 omnis and possibly a c-414.

I'm wondering if anybody can give any help on positioning the choir, what stereo mic techniques to explore (was thinking of Decca tree, Mid-side, or spaced omnis with C-414 for centre image support--I really want to use the DPAs) and which to avoid (would the mid-side work with these mics?) and any other ideas from the more experienced lot out there.

Many thanks in advance! :)
