Registering SP-1 for Hemisphere

Hi Guys, can you help me with something that is probably really obvious, but I seem to be missing?

I'm trying to register my pair of SP-1's so I can use the Hemisphere plugin, but I'm struggling to do so.

In UA connect, I've gone to 'Register new UAD hardware' - which of course has just Apollos and UAD-2 devices in the drop down. And I've also clicked 'Add Hardware', entered the serial number for one of the mics, to be told its invalid.

What am I missing?

Thank you.

it should work as shown here:

If you're seeing otherwise, let Support know.

Also, be sure you're using the serial # from the mic itself.

Thank you for replying. Yeah, I'm putting in the serial number from the XLR on the bottom of the mic, but it still shows as invalid. Do I put in any special characters?

What would be the best way to contact support in this instance?
Go to help.uaudio.com, click on the blue Support bot and type “create ticket”

I do believe there was an issue with some early serials not being recognized in UAC. Support will get this knocked out for you fast.

Post your ticket # here once you have it.

Thank You Drew. The issue was that, because it is a pair, I was putting the 'A' or 'B' in the serial number, when I should have removed it.

Many thanks

How do you like those mics with the Hemisphere software?
I have a set of modified Oktava small-diaphragm condensers, but am curious if the Hemisphere software really brings something new to the table.

Honestly, I've actually not had time to try them that much, as the rest of my week/weekend went a bit crazy. But I think the mics on their own sounded really good, and on the acoustic guitar I was recording, the hemisphere didn't add that much. I dare say, that on different sources, the hemisphere will be useful. I've got a pair of unmodded Oktavas, and they're certainly a step up from those.
