I'm interested in checking out the Origin Effect RevivalDrive - and while it appears it has the cajones to be a standalone amp in a box itself, it also has quite the ability to handle a wide array of OD settings. I would put this in front of my Dream (or Ruby, I have both).
In this configuration - I am thinking I would use the Dream or Ruby as an actual "amp". The end of the chain is an Ox Stomp.
The RevivalDrive has a Re-Amp EQ switch that can be set to either an EQ1 or EQ2 (these appear to be what you would use if going into an actual amp). There is also a setting for Power Amp (which seems to be for what you would do for something like an Ox Stomp or other cabsim box.
My question is - which setting would be recommended? I'm thinking if the Dream/Ruby are acting as the "amp", I would use the EQ1 or EQ2 setting?
I don't have the pedal yet, but was hoping maybe someone who has already crossed this bridge and might have some feedback.
Thanks!
