Selling PCI UAD's, buying PCIe version

I am making the jump to Mac soon, and have thought about a solution for using my PCI cards in it. However, since I now learned that my RME HDSP card will never get drivers written for Mac Intel, I might reconsider going the Magma PCI chassis route. Therefore my plan is now to buy a firewire soundcard and 1 or two PCIe UAD-1 cards.

I would like to sell my old PCI UAD-1's after I am done upgrading, but I want to keep all my plugins, I assume that is not a problem? Anyone tried this yet?

UA should let the go...You are crossgrading basically. so all you have to do is tell them you are dumping your PCI's and I am sure they will give you an authorizer for that purpose.

No Guarantees as I dont work for UA, but I am sure they considered crossgraders might go this route....

The new guy will have to get his re-authorized by UA anyway...

The UA crossgrade policy states that you keep all your authorizations and the old card you are selling will revert to a \"Project Pak\" for the new owner.

How much do you want for your PCI UADs???
