Hi! I have a setup with two apollo 16 and one twon (as a controller) and i want to send output signal to a binson echorec and a roland chorus echo, and before I have done this with just line to line cable, but i’ve rerouted my chain and it’s now sending the output signal with an xlr to line, but i’m getting no signal to the hardware units. This should be no problem right? What am I doing wrong here?

I'd use outs 3-4 from the Twin (via a Cue-the only way they're accessible) https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205927139-Apollo-Thunderbolt-Multi-Unit-Cascading

Sounds like you may be trying to hook up a balanced (XLR) output to a single-ended (TS, Tip/Sleeve, RCA) input??? If this is the case, connect pins 1 and 3 of the XLR together and make sure pin 2 of the XLR goes to the Tip of the TS connector or the center pin on an RCA connector.
