Beats me!Well, I have 104. How many are there in total ?
Say I had a coupon, and say I was doing the 2/99, and already had one plugin locked in. Do you think Sound City is a good choice for the second?Sound City Studios is by far the best this decade on any platform.

It's full of character and vastly different from any other plugin I've used. It's still hard for me to tame, but when it hits, it's unreal. It's easily the most fun I've ever had with a "reverb" plugin.Say I had a coupon, and say I was doing the 2/99, and already had one plugin locked in. How is the St James EL34? I am usually looking for variants of light to medium crunch tones, which are hard to do convincingly with sims in my experience. High gain is no problem for sims, but spankin and crunchin on sims leaves me a bit cold usually. It's not "new" necessarily, but it's become my "go-to" for amp sims......

I know, I know, I'm a ho' when it comes to amp sims, but really, this thing is 3d. Very versatile. I think it's the cabs more than anything else. Other than that, I have Spark so until they come up with something new or ported, got nothing. Speaking of Cdnalsi, I am "looking" into the SSL sub. Not sure if I need, but it's a great way to get your feet wet.

Is SSL "Sub" part of the fusions series?
Are the UAD/Console amps unable to pull any of this off? curious.A: The SSL "sub" seems to include everything plug the Harrison stuff.
B: Either of the St James are perfectly fine, but that OD pedal seems to be of great use here, so I bought the "full" version. Also, that "black" amp they have has some beautiful clean tones. I'm very versatile, I like clean, crunch, beef, or any/all of the above.
who figured what?Ah, I figured![]()
I seem to be in the minority but I personally love (and use professionally) many of the UA/Brainworx/Softube amps via Console or Luna (with an Apollo obviously). Are the UAD/Console amps unable to pull any of this off? curious.
I don't remember, but I was responding to another postwho figured what?
Yep. But the Blackstar actually has some really good ones for a change, they are dry so you can use your own verb. Great starting points.Generally, presets are a no-go for me.
What's the best all-around UAD-2 amp for playing complete chords (not open 4ths or 5ths) with some amount of crunch or overdrive?I seem to be in the minority but I personally love (and use professionally) many of the UA/Brainworx/Softube amps via Console or Luna (with an Apollo obviously).
Caveat; I know how to tweak an amp and an amp model and I take the time to do it. Generally, presets are a no-go for me.
Hard one. Try the Suhr. What's the best all-around UAD-2 amp for playing complete chords (not open 4ths or 5ths) with some amount of crunch or overdrive?
