Hi guys
I've just bought a Solo 610 and subjectivity aside, would love to know some peoples sworn settings on the gain and levels for cerrtian sessions ie. Female vox, male vox and live bass

Any helpful!

Somethings just don't have a readymade answer. Especially a preamp with two knobs. If I'm using an sm57 and you're using a u87 it will sound completely different on the same source. Even if, by chance, you manage to exactly match the instrument, distance from the mic, volume of the performance, angle of the mic, dimensions of the room, location in the room...etc, the result will still be quite different. Most manuals will tell you how the controls work and how to get different sounds but it's really up to you to decide what sounds good on what.
