top tip: don't buy stuff you cannot actually use and get value from -- nobody should feel punished for buying a tool, whether software or garden rake. If you buy a plugin for $199 and 10 years later it's on sale for $49, you should have gotten the value during the period from when you initially bought it. All software goes on sale from time to time, either for competitve reasons, or new product launch, or other. UA has done exceptional job for us old timers (I predate Apollo range), in offering insanely good deals on new stuff, updates to revised stuff, and even insane "get 10 items for what you paid for one item 5 years ago" deals for old-timers only. UA is not being mean to anyone, or not doing right by long timers - I think they have done remarkably well in keeping us happy over time. So, I guess you didn't get value out of your purchases? Sorry to hear it. My experience has been very different.

I know what you pointing at , for me it isnt even counting. Money aint a issue over Here.

The issue is the loose in value for thoose who struggled to build Up there catalog.

I mean it isn't ten years ago that the pure Plate reverb even on Sale has a cost of 99 Dollar

And now you can get this Plug in With alot of other Plug ins for Like nothing in a bundle

Im Happy for thoose who get great Deals now a days , but im Not self centerd enough to negliate thoose who feel that Things they worked hard for , lost in value

I have no idea, but I think Neo made a good point. If you use it, then it's not quite that important. I get it though, getting the best price is always the best option

I'm more than happy any of the UAD stuff I bought years ago still works! The incredible cost of keeping plugins working with macOS is like a built in permanent discount folks often overlook. The litany of plugins from other vendors now DOA is quite sad by comparison.

UA offered some very generous loyalty coupons back in March. I believe $299 for any 10 or $499 for any 20 plugins. I’m good on plugins, but certainly appreciated the offer.
