So I've been chased out of my space by a heavy metal band that decided to move in next door to my space as well as electrical issues. Bummer.
So I'm mixing on Sennheiser HD280s, in the bedroom... SWEET!


This is a band I play bass in called Either Orchestra.

Drums w/broken Cymabls with nails in them
Bass
Fender Rhoades
Guitar w/SPace Echo

I decided to record practice and came out with this.

I recommend you listen on headphones, monitors or stereo speakers.
I was pretty conservative with the levels and keeping it away from zero, not slamming it. It's kind of hard to here the bass on little laptop speakers. By the way, this MP3 hosting site is pretty good and free.

that orchestra track is beautiful! Love it! Nice vibe, makes me wanna get a space echo

Couldn't get into the two bass band, sorry.... the first bass resonated everywhere in my room and my head.

This is the first time I'm actually able to listen to online stuff in my studio; I finally have a normal internet connection.... next week I'll have normal heating too.... progress 8)

Yeah, I'm the King of bad luck lately.
No job, selling gear to stay afloat, breaking stuff. Ah!
The Space Echo used was the UAD's.... pretty f'n cool. eh.
He used one of those pink Ibanez analog delays, while he played. I bussed him down to the Roland S.E.
He now uses the Line 6 big green pedal... sounds the same with more options.
Either Orchestra is pretty RAD! I love playing in it. Last night we wrote a song that sounded like the movie \"Fantastic Planet\".
Yeah, that double bass band is a hard one to get into, but even harder to mix.

Internet in the studio... Awesome!
