I have the spectralive V 1, and it has a bug, that involves a silence in the audio that Crysonic has admitted to, and apparently is still there in V 2 the fact that they want $ for the upgrade with the same bug they have stated to fix is rediculous. Now on to your point. I think for Uad to come up with an (exciter) type based plug in would not be worth there time as there are enough plugins they have made that one could easily mix there audio with out the need for such a plugin and acheive better results. Just my opinion.

What bug?

I've just baught it on the strength of the demo and the full version sounds fine to me, excellent in fact. What bug are you talking about? There is no mention of any bug...........

The bug was involving certain users that when the plugin is installed on an audio track a second of silence would happen then go away. I had confirmed this with Crysonic, and they confirmed that it was GUI related. Again not all users had experienced this. I had also confirmed with other sonar users that had upgraded to V2 that the same audio bug was never fixed. Again only a hand full of people are experiencing this.

I would love it if UA made an exciter... their aren't many plugin exciters out there, not many at all, I can only think of a few... but I know of tons and tons of eq and compression plugins.
