Also wanted to mention ... the faders on my Tascam DM3200 are touch sensitive. Not exactly the same type of product, but I do get very similar results with the right settings when using it as a mackie controller to mix with. When I touch any given fader it selects it on both the board itself and in the DAW. Doesn't support the multi-touch the way the C1 fader does ... but it might be a bit bold to claim that touch sensitive faders are an industry first on the C1 fader ;) Not disputing it, just adding some fuel for the fire.

Todd, I've seen now the drive and drive character can be changed independently from the filters which is great. Is this something planned for the console 1 as well?

Touch is not an industry first, but the workflow of Fader and its resolution/feel is totally new for the industry. By the way, speaking of select track on touch, you can enable this in settings. You can also enable select track on solo. (Which I personally like)

Ooo good to know. I was hoping for these options after using it like this on my board, it's handy.

I just posted something in the Console Fader with Apollo Console thread here - https://uadforum.com/softube-consol...ban/44656-apollo-central-console-1-fader.html - where UA is talking about their ongoing Softube partnership and how you can control Apollo Console faders, sends, etc. with Console 1. It's a Twin X/x4 video, so definitely current info.

Sure sounds like all is well, but there was just an untimely hiccup.
