Sonoma: REAPER can no longer adjust sample rate

(Apollo x4 QUAD, M1 Macbook air, Sonoma)

For years I have flip-flopped between 44.1, 48 and 96 khz in REAPER's preferences. I will hear the little "Click" sound in the Apollo and the sample rate will be changed in UAD Console and my audio will playback/monitor at the new sample rate after just 2-3 seconds without issue.

Now, I get the "click" sound and the sample rate # changes in UAD Console, but no audio works. I must power-cycle the Apollo then reset my DAW audio settings again before audio works.

Anyone else experiencing similar? It seems like the UAD Drivers are having issues with Sonoma despite it being certified as compatabile by UA. Lots of crashes related to mac sleep as well (I've gone in and prevented that now which helped, but was no an issue before).

Yes - I had that problem also. read this thread, it details the problem and how I fixed it.
Hmm thanks, but I'm not sure this is the same issue.

Previously, I had no issues with REAPER changing the sample rate gracefully on the Apollo. Now when REAPER changes the sample rate, I end up having to restart the Apollo and reset REAPER settings again.

I was using 44.1 mainly, and when opening reaper, it was loading three projects I was working on - two were 44.1 and one was 48. When loading the project that was recorded at 48khz, it would cause my apollo to reset to 48, and I was getting no audio from my 44.1 projects until I reset clock in the console. Maybe that’s not what’s happening to you, but it took me a little while to figure out how to deal with it…
good,luck.
