Sphere Tool tips

Hi,

I'm using the sphere plugin and I used to remember that you could hover over the mics to get more information about them. In fact, in the user manual it says the following:

Click Tool Tips to toggle helpful tips when hovering the cursor over a control. This includes information about each mic type, when selecting in the mic type selection window.

For whatever reason, I don't see this tool tips toggle and I don't get the mic information. Am I doing something wrong? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, I cannot get Tool Tips to work here either. I tried toggling in the Set Up pane and nothing.

I'll report it.

Try hovering on the labels and not the knobs, and the mic icon.

Can you test in Console. That's where I tested

Confirmed...it does not work in Sphere in Console on my system either. It only does in Logic Pro with the Sphere Mic Collection plug-in.

heard from Chris. This is a known issue on Apple silicon.

I am running an M1 Mac mini with macOS 13.6.3 Ventura. Logic Pro and all UAD software is up to date.

I'm running M2 Max Mac Studio with macOS Sonoma 14.2.1. I was testing using the Sphere plugins in Luna. It did NOT work there.

It DID work on my old intel based Mac using Mojave. I guess this confirms the "known issue on Apple Silicon." For now I'll use the web help, minor issue but glad you guys know about it.

It used to work on Apple Silicon in LUNA.
