Spitfire instrument gain

Hi folks, I’m kinda new at this so bear with me please… Background: I recorded an electric piano instrument track with my midi controller guitar and it came out well. I bought the Spitfire bundle to add strings an am wanting to record a bass part. No problem creating a track with it but the gain is very weak and the piano drowns it out when I listen to the piano part and try to play the bass with it. I cannot bring up the gain through my Apollo Twin because the midi controller is connected via bluetooth, but I’m assuming there is a way to add gain through Luna. Help is appreciated.

There is a volume control in the user interface of Spitfire.
You can also add a preamp before or after the strings.
