still unexpected quit with dp 4.6 & uad 4.1

maybe the theme was dicussed before. but it first happened when i upgraded to uad 4.0: opened a project which had rs-1 or trem/mod/echo inserted - dp quits. also opening a new project and inserting one of the two plugins would make dp crash. i hoped this problem would be solved with uad 4.1. but it's still there.
any solutions?

Nigel and Mod filter both crash DP 4.61 on my G5 - Dual 2.7 Ghz with 4.5 Gigs ram. It did work on version 3.9. I sent a message to UAD and the MOTU list tonight. Hopefully they can resolve this soon.

funny enough that problem appeared when uad 4.0 came. since then both motu and ua had updates on their software and knew of the problem but still couldn't get rid of the bug.

I had this behavior on my rig for about 24 hours after updating all my software.
Constant crashes, plugins not found, Kernal Panics, etc.
What's strange is that after a few restarts everything sorted itself out somehow and UAD4.1 w/ DP 4.61 is working fine for me now.
Is it a G5 or OS thing? I'm still using a dual 867 G4 w/OS 10.39.

nope. i also had the problem on my dual ghz g4. very strange and frustrating. anyone at ua?

I changed the MIN_GNT # to 128 and launched DP and Nigel started to work again. It has since reverted to 64, but all seems fine now.
