The big knob that controls volume and level on my Apollo Twin X is erratic

When I turn the knob it doesn't track well. If I'm turning it up it will go up a little then down a bit then up. Anything I can do to make it work better?

Just to give it some visibility, I am having this same issue. I thought maybe a firmware update would fit it, but to no avail.
