Hi folks...

Before I slap some cash for this...how does this system look to you?

Intel P D930 3.0GHz Dual core 4Mb L2
Asus P5P800 SE
1x Kingston 1GB PC3200 400MHz RAM
RME Multiface
UAD-1
2xSATA drives
blah blah....

I'm planning to upgrade my Asus P4P800 Deluxe and P4 2.8G cpu to the above (so all I'm changing is the MOBO, CPU and RAM)

Any thoughts?

I just bought that mainboard! monday i am buying a dual core 3.2Ghz
I have been looking for a motherboard with PCI and Pentium D support and this one looks great. I can use my same memory and AGP GFX card.

Good to see it workin'out for ya. If you ever consider AMD, the ASUS A8R-MVP works great for me, albeit a single UAD-1.

rdolmat i have it installed and it works great i even have an extra PCI slot!
the dual core really makes a difference. i had a 3.2Ghz P4
