Thunderbolt 3 Satellite not... working?

Hey y'all I have long been a UAD Apollo Twin - QUAD user. Maybe 7-8 years. Decided earlier this year to jump on a great deal for a Satellite, thinking it would help alleviate some DSP issues I'd been running into.

Still running into the same issues but just have been going so hard the last year (I'm a songwriter by trade who also produces a ton - something like 250 demos this year + another 40 or so masters - I just haven't had time to stop and figure out what the heck is going on.

Finally have time. Please help.

So - my Satellite (Thunderbolt 3 - OCTO) shows up in my UAD Control Panel.

In the Console app, it'll show that I'm using 257% of my DSP, 24% of PGM and 4% of memory... but I'll get an error message saying that I've exceeded DSP resources.

So I open up my UAD control panel and none of the plugins are being run on the Satellite. 7 plugins running on the Apollo. 0 plugins being run on the Satellite.

I know there must be information on what I'm doing wrong, but I just think I don't know how to ask Google the question, cuz all it does it take me to stuff that doesn't help.

So... please help. Is there some sort of thing I must change in the Control Panel or Console to make it run plugins on the Satellite?

Thanks in advance.

Plug-ins added in Console can't run on a Satellite (latency and the way UA has decided to build their stuff). Plug-ins added in Console also only run on the Apollo you add said plug-ins to, so if you want more DSP for Console you'll have to get a 2nd Apollo (and split your inputs across the different Apollo units), or use less intensive DSP plug-ins, or use fewer plug-ins on the way in, or use the Aux channels to help supplement your processing, or use the DSP sharing option in the Console settings.

Sat DSP is for mixing only.

Apollo DSP handles live inputs.
