Thunderbolt hub running external SSD running DAW

Trying to figure out if you run a Daw from a SSD that’s connected to a computer from a thunder bolt hub. Anyone doing this?

OS and all Apps on the internal.

I then have this:

filled with Samsung SSDs for all audio. Been flawless for 6 years with HEAVY daily use.
