Looking to get a new Apollo 8 TB 3 interface soon, I am baffled as to what TB cable I need, The Apple site has one and it doesn't even state if its TB2, 3 or 4, any pointers to which cable I need? seasons greeting btw!

If it’s Apollo MKII then you need TB2 cable, if it’s Apollo X then you need TB3 or 4. TB4 is compatible for TB3 port as well as USB Type-C, but TB2 has its own unique port and you have to use a dedicated TB2 cable or an adapter to use with TB3/4. I hope this will help.

Thank you, How can I tell if its an Apollo MkII? its a brand new Apollo. it says TB version 3, so I guess a TB4 or 3 cable?

If it's a new TB3 Apollo, then any Apple TB3 or 4 cable will work.
