Hey Folks, another "what the heck is going on" post from me
I have some drum tracks with some volume automation (different for each track) on them, and I'd like to trim all of them down by 4dB. They are in a group with "edit" and "mix" properties checked. Seems like it should be as simple as selecting the whole song's time range, and dragging down 4dB on any of the volume automation lines. However, I'm getting strange results. The track I grab will be reduced by 4dB, but other tracks in the group will have other values.
In my example, with the group enabled, I reduced the kick track by 4.1 dB. The snare top track was reduced by 5.8 dB, and my snare bottom track was reduced by 6 dB.
I made a quick video showing the issue. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T3tK-C_o_G7oLAH0_elTid3ROspravgp/view?usp=drive_link
And when I do this on tracks with the same initial volume, I see the results as expected. It's almost like it's not following the decibel scale, but a linear/visual scale instead.
Seems like a bug, right?
