Triple Head Graphics Card

I'm building a new machine and would like to add a third monitor to my DAW. I've got 3 identical 17\" TFT's raring to go. Any recommendations? I'm after a AGP card as I'm using the ASUS A8V Deluxe motherboard and all the PCI slots are filled with soundcards and UAD-1's.

Any thoughts on this little fella as a possibility:

I don't want to spend a fortune if possible as I'd rather cane the cash on more RAM.

That will indeed do the job, but there look to be a couple of potential gotchas involved.
1 - You have one resolution by the look of it.
2 - You will have \"stretched\" mode\".
Number 2 is not really an issue, but number 1 might be, depending on the native resolution of your flat panels.
Flat Panel monitors all operate at optimum when in \"Native\" resolution. You can change this, but the results are never quite as good, or guaranteed to work trouble-free.

As long as your monitors will run at 1280x1024, then you will be just fine.

Cheers Neil. I currently run my 2 TFT's at 1280x1024 so the resolution thing shouldn't be a problem. I guess I'll just have to wiat for it to be released now!

Any other cheap options anyone? I looked at the Matrox QID but that seems awfully expensive.

I have installed the Matrox P750 with 3 19\" flat panels and it works like a sharm.

Beware that you will need to download some software from the Microsoft site to make it happen.
