I just A/Bed the demo version of the Tubetech CL1B compressor plug-in for PowerCore, with our beloved UAD-1 1176LN and 33609.
The 1176LN is the easiest to sound good. Yet when I found the right setting on the C1LB, they really sounded as good. I'm really impressed. It's been very hard for any compressor plug-in out there to sound as good as the 1176LN plug-in.
But the price is too high. $599 for the native version..... Plus it doesn't really sound like a Tubetech (but it does sound close a hardware compressor). I'm not going to buy it. I would if it were priced $199.
