It's not the HiHats, it's the shakers that might be up fron too much, I think.
I'm not so happy with how the vox sit in the mix, although tzhe UAD, which I bought 2 months ago, make a real difference - Hmmmm Pultec Pro and LA2A 8)
Thanks for liking the Vox - my good friend Melodyne helped me to polish it, otherwise it's just one take. I tend to use the first take - what I recorded right after having written the melody. At that point in time, the emotion is still fresh inside of me, that's when the expression seems to be the best.
