Hi,
Unskillful noob looking for help: I use a Mac only live streaming and recording product called Ecamm Live as a front end for my client zoom calls. I replaced a Rodecaster Pro with a Twin X and can’t get the sound coming out of Ecamm to an acceptable quality to use on client calls. the Twin X and plug-ins sound excellent when used as a source for Logic Pro X, but when I use it as a source for Ecamm the audio is woolly, resonant and unpleasant.

I know this is down to my lack of skill but I don’t have the experience yet to address the problem. Any guidance gratefully received!

I am not using eCamm for Zoom, but I am using ManyCam, which is similar to OBS in functionality. Rather than run my Apollo x8P through ManyCam, I use ManyCam for Video only. I select the Apollo as the source in Zoom.

Actually it is not quite that simple: I create a virtual machine in LoopBack (by Rogue Amoeba) so I can send the audio I want to send to Zoom, and not send the Zoom incoming audio back in a feedback loop. I then go from the Apollo through the Virtual Device into the Zoom audio settings.

That may give you some ideas. Doing it this way, the stereo sound is great on Zoom.
