Two devices encountered issues with software authorization when used together

I have an Apollo twin x duo, but I did not purchase any effect plugins in the linked account. My friend lent me a UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 OCTO, and his device was linked to an account where he purchased UAD Complete 2. When I put these two devices on the same computer for use, the UAD Complete 2 plugin failed and could not be used. Turning off Apollo twin x duo allowed me to continue using UAD Complete 2 in the UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 OCTO. How can I solve this problem?
