Two notes captor x with Apollo twin

Hello all. I just upgraded to the Apollo twin and was wondering if there’s still a good way to use the wall of sound plug in with the captor x for mic IR when recording with the Apollo. Sorry if that’s a total noob question but I just can’t figure it out. Thanks.

The Captor X hosts IRs doesn't it? So you could just set it on the IR you like and record that and commit to it. I really like to use the UAD Ocean Way Studios and Sound City Studios, or just a good "room" impulse response (on an AUX send in all case) to add some room sound to my guitars as well.

Apollo Twin (thunderbolt, can't speak to USB/windows), has pretty excellent low-latency performance, so you should be able to run your DAW at something like 44.1/khz and 64 sample buffer if your computer is decent, and run Wall-of-Sound. But you should check out Genome, which is the newer software from Two Notes.

EDIT: you can't run 3rd party apps like Wall-Of-Sound in UA Console obviously. A lot of us are dreaming of an "Ox" UAD DSP plugins like the Ox Stomp and Ox Box. So that we can have those speaker sounds in UAD DSP land.

But you should be able to monitor in your DAW with an app like Wall of Sound, Genome, Celestion Speaker Shaper, Cabinetron, etc
