Waiting till the dust clears to install this sucker but read that it's supposedly better optimized. Anyone have any reports in regards to getting better performance with their host before the dreaded cpu spike? I'm using DP 4.61. Thanks.

I did report in a nother thread. Basically I got mixed results here with Cubase SX. I did get a 10% decrease in Host CPU load using 1176SE plugs, but when I loaded a huge amount of Cambridge EQ's with 5 bands, the Host CPU was spiking. This is hardly a definitive test, since its unlikely that i'd ever load 80 of the same plug in like that.

Now I will say that none of my existing sessions showed any spike or issues of any kind. Its a very smooth upgrade over here. I'm very pleased with this update.
