UA Connect is... not good

I've had this issue more than once. Right now, the solution seems to be to have UA Connect launch on start and keep it on. I will file a ticket later today.
I forgot to add that, there was no issue launching from the menu bar, just the dock. Really weird.

It was across the board here. No matter what I did it would not launch and it happed twice. UA Connect isn't super important, but it is annoying.

That is frustrating, especially when there is no clue as to why. I assumed that my issue was something to do with that auto update early yesterday here ( late Monday night for you ).

I really wanted to get the 11.5.2 downloaded asap as it had a bearing in Sonarworks ID / Apollo, otherwise I would probably been less concerned to get a quick fix and was lucky enough to do so without looking too far.

It will be interesting to see what the guys in support say. Knowing that they are first class, here's hoping that they can come up with a fix for you.

You don't need a USB iLok, that is a choice presented by UAC to run licenses for your plug ins etc. You could choose to run them via iLok cloud.

UAC itself provides a conduit to updates across a variety of applications /platforms.

As I have said previously, it works great for me with one 5 minute fix to an issue yesterday. Not an issue.

If you have moved all licenses to physical usb key, you cannot update anything when they're not plugged in.

FFS, this time it didn't even launch on startup and doesn't work. Honestly even though it's a little thing it's pissing me off.

Support got back to me but it was the typical "look at our suggestion" page on the website. There might be a thing or two I haven't tried which I'll do a bit later. Likely won't work but I'll try ;)

I figured something out. If you have Luna open and go to "manage" then it will work. I think I'm on to something because this didn't start happening until one of the Luna updates. Luna was launching UA Connect iirc and I unticked something. Support hasn't gotten back to me since I last got back with them, I'll send them another report.

Yeah, support is saying that they are looking into it now. I think maybe, just maybe they took a look at my case and the forum and decided that there is a problem.
