UA Connect Update paid of Helios Type 69 preamp and EQ???

I saw that it appeared on UA Connect Helios Type 69 preamp and EQ. I received free with the purchase of the audio interface offers(the dsp version of). To benefit from UADX it must be bought again? :ROFLMAO:

Nope.

It's free if you own the DSP version. You'll get an email with a code and instructions.

BUT you must redeem within 30 days or it will be $2.99 after that.

So this is a new policy, that the ports will not show up in UAC, but have to be aquired from email-codes? ...and at a fee after 30 days?

Well, mine showed up in UA Connect, no code required. :giggle:

I just had a thought, I'm also a Spark subscriber, maybe that's why no code was required.

Thanks for clarification, Drew! One plug-in I don't own from Manley Bundle is Vari-Mu. So when the intro sale goes live today and I buy it for $49 - I should wait for both codes (Helios I already own and Manley) to activate?

And this applies to UADx versions only, right? UAD-2 versions can be authorized via UA Control Panel as usual?

Sure, you can wait, or do them separately. We have emails going to Helios owners, Vari-mu owners, and those that own both.

Yes, no change to UAD2

If you read the thread you would know you don't have to pay again you just have to wait till later to redeem a code that is emailed to you later today.
