UA Connect won't launch

I keep getting the standard "do this" from support. They just don't understand how many of us are having issues.
That's what support is. You're having a problem? Try this fix. Did it work? no? Try this.

This is what support is.

Except I've already done that. It didn't work. And considering how many people have this problem, it's on your end.

Then it's on the next thing Support will ask you try.

I understand it's frustrating when you're having issues. But we have hundreds and hundreds of thousands of users using UAC without issues. So it's just a matter of finding out what's going on in your case.

I understand, but there has been quite a few people complaining about it lately. It opens up in Luna just fine though, so I'm not completely SOL.

hi, - in my case it wont start, too, because it is started but hanging. If i close it over MacOs ActivityMonitor and start again, it works.

That is my Tip ;)

I'll be damned, I had no idea you could do that. Well it worked this time anyways.....we'll see.

Hi, I have the M2 MacBook Pro, MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1 and I ran into this issue where UA Connect was not working. I tried putting the application in the bin, but it wouldn't let me as it was "running", even though It had not opened up on the screen or taskbar. I opened up Activity Monitor by opening up Spotlight (cmd+spacebar) and typing Activity Monitor in. I selected UA Connect which and stopped it from running by pressing "X". I opened it, it still didn't work. I stopped it running again via Activity Monitor, and this time when I double clicked the app again, it actually opened.

You are not alone. Many of us have struggled with this app for quite some time. You did the right thing, persistance is key ;) Now, sometimes, you can open the app from the top right corner of macos. For example, if it says "UA" at the top, try opening it from there. If you use Luna, you can open it from the "managment" section. There is more than one way to hit the pinyata, but it's a journey......

PS: At least it's better than it was. It was a real bear for a while :(
