UAD-1 comps and EQ vs Creamware?

I need a zero latency platform. As much as I love the UAD-1 cards, they induce latency and that's the buzzkill for me. I have my reasons for this. Is it possible to approach the same ballpark with the plugins available for the Creamware platform? The DAS plugins for the Scope platform have a nice GUI, but you can **** in one hand and GUI in the other and see which one fills up first.

Creamware? Still in business :?: Yes, I know they are but they don't seem to really care about scope anymore, do they?

The zero latency is for within the scope environment but to get audio from your host software to scope and back will take the same asio (if you use asio) or... latency as any other system.

Regarding the DAS plugins there was some major trouble with DAS and the quality of their plugins and their customer service on the planetz forum.

best, robi

The VinCo is good, it's somewhat like an 1176 meets a 160SL (i.e. it responds like a 160 but can dirty up like an 1176). I haven't given the DAS plug-ins a shot yet, remind me to do that if I don't report back about them soon. The A100 & P100 Lexicon room & plate 'verbs are fantastic.

Another option might be to use a Powercore in low latency mode.
