uad 1 dissappearing

ok, this is getting annoying. i had version 3.9. worked fine, then one day, the card will work for a while, then it appears to go offline or something. this happens both in protools le and vegas. i have tried a different pci slot, also have just upgraded to the most recent firmware. what the heck is going on?

I had the same problem and I just assumed that one of my cards went bad....I kept trying different PCI slots etc. and had all kinds of funny things going on with one particular card out of my 3 UAD-1's. I was fairly convinced a card went bad and sent it to UA for replacement - I have yet to hear back from them since they received it last week, but now seeing as someone else is having the exact same issues it may be a bug in the latest software and NOT a hardware failure.

This all started when I went from version 3.9 to 4.2 software ):

my problem actually started on 3.9. i upgraded to see if that would take care of it.

ok, my system has been working flawlessly for about 8 months. i have a dell p4 3.2ghz w/ 1 gig ram. separate hard drives, irq's good with my motu 2408 mk III. i am running sony vegas. everything was working fine, now nothing. nothing new installed, software or hardware. what the heck happened? i just finished mixing a huge project last week, now this week i am getting errors.


more specifically, i get the error using WDM drivers
i dont get an error using ASIO, but, none of the pluggins work...
