UAD-1 Performance Meter: How accurate?

In my rush to use my coupon, I've been A/B/C/D'ing the 1081, 1073 and Helios. To keep things honest, I'm including Cambridge to see just how close I can get.

I've got 2 cards in the test machine.

According to the meter, one instance of Helios seems to take 8% CPU. But Cambridge only takes 1-2%. Does this seem right to the rest of y'all?

Thanks

Sure you aren't using a mono version or mono channel with the helios.

stereo helios tales 23.5% of 1 card and mono or mono channel uses 16% on 1 card

both @ 44.1khz

2 cards would show 8% for a mono helios or stereo helios in mono channel

Yep. Mono program material. That's what I mostly would use these things for.

Thanks,
