UAD-1 Presets

Where should the UAD-1 presets go...?

HD/Library/Application Support/Universal Audio/Presets/


OR

User/Library/Audio/Presets/Universal Audio

Does it matter?

VST presets (.fxp files) go in:

HD/Library/Application Support/Universal Audio/Presets/<plug-in folders>

AU presets (.aupreset files) - if you use them - go in:

HD/Library/Audio/Presets/Universal Audio/<plug-in folders>

The only stuff I own that installs presets in my User Presets folder comes from Alphakanal and U-He. PowerCore presets get installed in the User Application Support folder though.

Yes, it does matter for UA stuff (and for most others too).

If you install in the user folder, presets will only be available to the user.
If you want everyone who uses the Mac to have access to the presets then install in the library folder.
