UAD-1 Serial/Registration etc

Seems I´m lost here!

I bought my card the very first week it came out in 2002 and I registered as I recall it on the uaudio.com. My login details worked now (I haven´t used the account since I got the card) but it says no card is registered.
Now I try to register my card but it asks for some serial number apart from Hardware ID. I got the Hardware ID but where is the serial? I can´t find the box now? I´ve mailed Uaudio.com but get no response thus far.
Can I buy the new plugs anyway without any potenial issues? The registration provides some branding options (mackie etc) that aren´t applicable to this first batch of cards that I got mine from.
Any comments appreciated, thanks!

Hi, my first card was bought in the first couple of weeks of the UAD-1 release also. My second card was also bought very early on. For both cards I have entered a serial no. of 0 (zero). I can't remember much more about it but I think the early cards didn't have a serial no. associated and entering 0 works. Well it worked for me.
