I was just posting to another thread and I mentioned that I would like to see a UAD-1 tap delay. I have been using hardware for positional delays in my mixes for the most part though I have found uses for the UAD-1 DM-1 as well. I guess I haven't explored the offerings of the various modules of the CS-1 nearly enough because I see that the RS-1 has a tap delay. I'm not in a situation where I can give this a go at the moment but I will give it a try in the next few days. I'm very partial to the TC Electronics D-Two hardware box due to it's ease of use and transparency. I'm wondering if the RS-1 will allow such ease and flexibility.
Also, the only UAD plugins that I don't own right now are the Roland emulations. I don't have any real world experience with the Space Echo box. I'm mixing lots of acoustic material here and don't need a lot of really interplanetary effects, but if this could be used as a nice positional delay, I'd probably bite. Guess I'll have to give the demo a spin. Anyone here using it as a simple positional delay on a stereo aux send?
Thanks,
