UAD-1 v4.5.1 Released

Hi Everyone,
UAD-1 Software v4.5.1 has been officially released. Changes for this version include:

Mac OS X:

(ALL) Fixed intermittent crashes in various hosts when closing certain plug-in editors
(RTAS) UAD RTAS Adapter v2 now requires Mac OS 10.4.x (Pro Tools 7, required for Adapter v2, requires Mac OS 10.4.x)
(AU) Modfilter/Phasor \"Enable\" parameter now correctly displays \"Off/On\" values in automation
(RTAS) CS-1 plug-ins once again load saved settings (PowerPC-only issue)
(AU) Fixed Logic 7 AU Manager crash under OS 10.3.9
(AU) DM-1L default settings now match VST default settings

Still pretty consistently crashing on closing my current project in Nuendo on 10.3.9.

None More Crashes...So Far

Installed the update yesterday and worked in Cubase SL 2 on OS 10.3.9 all day and....no more crashes (so far). The last update forced Cubase to crash everytime I quit the app. This new one seems to have solved that problem. Thanks UA.

FWIW: \"Backgrading\" to 4.2 has been the answer for me-- no harm, no foul as far as features and sound are concerned, right?

The crashing in Nuendo became marginally less consistent with 4.5.1 than it had been in 4.5.0 (where it happened every time I quit), but it was still aggravating.

All better now.

I Spoke To Soon!

Well at first this update seemed to fix the crashes in Cubase but now that I've been working with it for about a week I now know it hasn't fixed it completely. Cubase Sl 2 is still crashing when I quit - just not as much as it did under the last update. I'm thinking of doing what Chewy Popadopolous did and backgrading to the version that worked without crashing until UA can fix this!!!!
