UAD 100 Promo

A friend of mine has offered me his unregistered Flexi pak with the $500 voucher. Does anyone know whether it would qualify for the extra UAD$100 voucher if I register it before 31 July or does this offer only apply to cards purchased new from a retailer?

I think that if it's never been registered, it should qualify for the new promo.
