UAD and RAID card problems?

Hi peeps,

I do have a RAID card (Highpoint Rocketraid 1820) and a UAD card (bought it used from a friend) in my DUAL G5 2,5. I can't get the UAD card to work - it doesn't even show up in the System Profiler. In installed it in the last (upper PCI slot), next to the Raid card.

When I install the 4.1 software and restart the computer I get messages that \"kext uad drivers ... are out of date and I should contact the manufacturer\". The UAD hardware meter says that there's no UAD hardware installed.

What could be wrong? Faulty hardware or a G5 problem? My friend told me that it worked flawless in his PC (true or not ... can't examine it right now ...)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ante

kext. kext stands for kernel extention which is basically the driver for the hardware.. if it is the uad-1 one kext, it means update the uad-1 driver go and find the UAD-1 kext file and delete it manually and re-install 4.1.. but to make sure do a get in for on the uad-1 kext file first just to verify that it is an old version... kext files would be under /system/library/extentions/
