i keep getting this error message and the circling wheel as my mac tries to process it....

sorry about hopping in on this one…I’ve had this issue for that past few weeks. it’s to the point that the projects that I was working on just wouldn’t open at all in PT…i have 28 cores of dsp. and the processing was around 15% on 30-40 tracks, when this was happening. I ended up starting the project from scratch by starting anew and reimporting the raw tracks from the original location. except, this time I put the busses with heavy dsp on the left side of the mixer (Drew once stated that PT loads from the left to right as far as the mixer goes…) This still didn’t work, -38 error upon every opening…and then no response and eventually a crash or even a few times the whole system just clicked off and came back with a critical error in safe mode. I sent the logs to UA.

I ended up moving all the files into LP. It’s been working perfectly smooth now. Same fx chains and routing…

I removed all plugins from my system except for the UAD stuff before I started this project. Did the uninstall/delete/reinstall thing. All UAD is fresh and working fine in LP…Maybe there’s an issue with PT?

In terms of DSP I have nothing open just my computer at boot up - which is a high spec imac
